A quick look at what actually goes into making your shirts. From design to print to press, we take our time to do it right.
A lot of people see the finished shirt, but not what goes into actually making it. So we figured we’d pull back the curtain a bit and show you how things really work on our end.
Every design starts with getting it right digitally first. Whether it’s something we came up with or a custom order, we make sure everything is clean, sharp, and ready before it ever touches a shirt. From there, we use Direct to Film printing.
That means your design gets printed onto a special film, then coated with adhesive powder, cured, and prepared for pressing. It’s not just a quick print and go. There’s a process to it, and every step matters if you want the final result to actually last.
Once that’s ready, we line everything up by hand.
Placement matters more than people think. We measure, align, and make sure everything sits where it should before pressing. No guessing. Then it goes onto the heat press.
We apply the design with the right temperature and pressure, then do a cool peel to make sure everything bonds properly. Required temperatures require our machines to be over 310 degrees Fahrenheit! After that, we do a final press to lock everything in.
Before anything gets packed, we check it.
We’re looking for alignment, quality, and making sure it’s something we’d actually wear ourselves. If it’s not right, it doesn’t go out. After that, it gets packed up and sent your way.
That’s really the difference for us. We’re not trying to rush orders out the door. We’re trying to make sure when you get your shirt, it feels like it was actually made with some care behind it.
We’ll keep sharing more of this as we go. In the meantime, if you haven’t checked out our latest designs yet, you can browse them here: A&G Design & Print - All Products
